Happy Friday! Today we discussed fire safety. We talked about items to avoid contact with such as the stove, candles, grill etc. We sang a song called “9-1-1” which told us to call 911 in case of an emergency. We discussed different types of emergencies also. We practiced our stop drop and rolling again and read “Curious George goes to the Fire Station”. For our project we made a fire by mixing red and yellow paint and adding “wood”. For lunch we had hot dogs, chips, baked beans, fresh strawberries, oranges, and corn.
