Today in the 123 class we focused on pumpkins! We read a story called “Too Many Pumpkins” and discussed pumpkin picking with our families. We tried pumpkin muffins for our morning snack, we had some mixed feelings about those :-). We sang, “The Five Little Pumpkins” song. As some parents have asked for the words, our friends worked on coloring a black and white copy of the song put into a book version. We all gathered in a circle a we attempted to roll a pumpkin to a friend. We learned quickly that it doesn’t go where we want it to, they loved watching it wobble around the carpet. For lunch we had pasta with grilled chicken, bananas, pineapple, fresh peppers and baby carrots.
