Today in the 123’s we discussed the life cycle of a butterfly as we read a story titled “Caterpillar to Butterfly”. We discussed how caterpillars enjoy munching on green leaves. We worked on our scissor skills by making small cuts around the outside of our leave shape. When we were finished we each made a caterpillar with dot markers and used a pencil to make legs! We used magnifying glasses outside to view a caterpillar closely and we discussed their uniqueness! For lunch we had pizza, pepperoni, pickles, pineapple, bananas and watermelon!
