Today in the 123 class we continued our discussion about shapes! We reviewed some shape flash cards and took turns telling me the colors of each shape! Today we focused on the circle! We looked around the school for things that were the shape of a circle. We found items such as the clock, toy buckets, target symbol, the top of our play kitchen oven burners and many more! We sang a shape song and practiced making a circle in the air. For our project we made circle collages using many different size and color circles. We had a dance party before lunch since we weren’t able to go outside. This afternoon we are going to use the dry erase boards to trace a circle shape.
