We started the day off with a special visit from Moana! She read a story to the school all about her journey to return Tafiti’s heart. We also sang along with Moana to one of her favorite songs, “How Far I’ll Go”.
The Pre-K practiced their “-at” and “-an” word families. We added the “-ar” word family, and listed off some words that ended in “-ar”. We will go over these word families further in class this week.
Miss Lauren introduced a new artist, M.C. Escher. We explored his tessellations, which are shapes or objects that fit together like puzzles to make a picture. The class designed and connected their own tessellations of fish, which will be hung up in the Pre-K art room.
