Today in the 123 class we discussed Construction workers. We discussed all the many things construction workers do from building homes to bridges. We read a short pop up story called “Build IT”. In our story it showed us construction machines such as a digger and explained how each piece works. In small groups we worked on building towers from our Legos and took turns knocking them down. For our project today we made a house! We used shapes to represent different parts of the house- structure, roof, windows and a door and we discussed the shapes we used as we built it. Our friends were so excited to see it snowing outside we all gathered at the window to watch it while it lasted. Have a great night!
