Happy Monday! We introduced our themes for the week Hanukkah, cooking and the letter L. Today we talked about Hanukkah. I asked my friends who celebrates Hanukkah and we discussed its traditions and how it is celebrated for 8 days. We read “I Have a Little Dreidel” and learned a few Hanukkah songs, one was called “Spin the Dreidel”. We also made a list of words that begin with the letter L. For our project we made dreidels, we ripped up pieces of tissue paper and tinfoil to put on it. We also practiced tracing the letter L. For lunch we had chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, broccoli, cucumbers, carrots, peaches and applesauce. Have a great night!
