Happy Friday! This morning we discussed tools and construction vehicles. We talked about the names of different tools and what they are used for. We did an action rhyme called “Cranes”. We learned a finger play called “Five Little Nails”. We also learned a construction song called “Johnny’s Hammers”, this one was our favorite! For our project we made tool belts, we used crayons to color different types of tools, we then used scissors to cut them out and glue onto our belt. We enjoyed using toothpicks and mini marshmallows to build with by sticking the marshmallows on both ends of the sticks and connecting them together. We pretended we were builders and used the magnets and wooden blocks to construct with. We read “The Three Little Wolves and The Big Bad Pig”. We finished our list of words that begin with M and learned the sound the letter M makes. We also used our flash cards to review our numbers. With Ms. Asim we practiced tracing our names and the letter M. Have a great weekend!
