This morning with Miss Cara we discussed thanksgiving, we talked about the different types of food we eat and what are favorite thing to eat during thanksgiving is. We read “Arthur’s Thanksgiving”. We also learned a few songs and fingerplays, “10 Little Indians” and “The Turkey on the Farm”. We made Indian headbands for our project. The children were shown examples of patterns and encouraged to try and make their own pattern when coloring the headband. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack and reviewed letters A-J and practiced tracing then. With Miss Abbie the children completed a thanksgiving line tracing worksheet and enjoyed playing in groups. Have a great evening!
