This morning with Miss Cara we introduced letter “Tt”, and discussed how an upper and lower case “Tt” is written. Since we will be reading books written by Dr. Seuss this week, today we also talked about what a rhyming word is, because many of Dr. Seuss’s books are filled with rhyming words. We also completed a letter Tt trace and find worksheet. During circle time we read “Oh The Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss. With Miss Lauren the children decorated hot-air balloons using cut pieces of construction paper, to go along with the story we read during circle time. The children also enjoyed their first music songs with Miss Erin this morning! Miss Erin began teaching the children some of her favorite children’s songs, and the children also got to teach her song of their favorite songs like, The Ninja Turtles, and Paw Patrol!
