We had a very busy and fun filled morning! We started our day with Miss Erin’s music class, she introduced us to classical music! With Miss Lauren the children ate snack and colored a picture of a helmet. With Miss Cara we introduced number 8 and practiced counting to 8. We talked a bit about the importance of wearing a helmet and practiced pedaling with our legs. During circle time we read “I want to be a dentist”. This afternoon we will have a visit from the puppet dentist! This morning we had a visit from Ms Nancy who talked to us about the importance of bike safety. We also had a visit from Nurse MaryAnn who talked to us about the importance of hand washing. We even got to look at our germs under a UV light! Weather depending, we will be riding bikes this week and next week. Bikes are provided, however every child must bring in a helmet if they want to ride. We can not share helmets. Please also make sure your child has sneakers to wear for bike riding. Have a great evening!
