In Mrs. Susan’s class, the students worked on sight words that start with the letter C, such as cat and car, while listening to Country music. They also learned their first word in sign language: Cab! Mrs. Susan also read the class a story called “Click, Clack, Peep!” by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin.

Mrs. Lanigan lead the class in a counting activity using Candy Corn. They each received a worksheet in which they had to place the correct amount of candy in the marked circles. While completing the activity, the students enjoyed a few candy corns for snack.

Miss Lauren introduced the class to the new Artist of the Month: Salvidor Dali! The class explored Dali’s famous mustache fashion by creating their own mustache for a drawn picture of the Spanish artist. The class traced their picture after learning about using pencil first. Their art will be mounted in the Pre-K Gallery.
