Mrs. Susan explained the rules to an alphabet word game to the class today. The class wrote letters A through E, writing D twice, on flash cards. The object of the game is to spell out the word on the smaller pieces of paper with the letter cards. Check out the cards located in your child’s cubby, and play the game with them!

Mrs. Lanigan’s class completed a counting worksheet. Each student had to count how many of the same object there was on the worksheet and fill in the amount on the bottom. They also learned about “more” and “less” comparison.

Miss Lauren had the students recreate Salvador Dali’s “Persistence of Memory” by cutting and pasting objects from a magazine onto a desert setting. Each student used their own small box of uniquely colored crayons to color in the desert.
