Mrs. Susan’s class went over words that start with the letter “J” with the class today. The students completed a worksheet, in which they colored uppercase and lowercase J and a juice box. They practiced writing uppercase and lowercase J. They also cut and pasted items that started with the letter J on the bottom of the worksheet. Afterwards, Mrs. Susan talked about Hanukkah and read two stories: one about dreidels and one about celebrating Hanukkah.

Miss Abbie set up a number game for the students today. Each student picked a number and had to hop to that number, however long it was, on the floor.

Miss Lauren’s class decorated Stars of David with shiny tin foil. They will be hung in the classroom. We also learned how to play the dreidel game.
