Happy Friday! Today during circle time we read “Elmer” a book about a colorful elephant. We also did a counting finger play called “5 Little Crayons”. We spoke about mixing colors and how the primary colors, when mixed, create the secondary colors. I asked my friends what their favorite color is and we created a favorite color graph with their responses. We made a list of words that begin with the letter I, and reviewed the proper way to form the letter, we then practiced tracing the letter I on our own. For our project we made rainbow necklaces using foam shape beads. My friends did such a great job lacing the beads all by themselves! For lunch we had pizza, cucumbers, carrots, mixed fruit, pineapple. Have a great weekend!
