Friday April 29th in the 123’s

Today in the 123’s we read a book called “What’s Blooming”. We discussed the book as we read and a lot of us recognized some of the flowers from their houses or around the area. We took a walk in search for dandelions and got to see some birds searching for worms! We each took a turn to water our grass and discuss the growth! For our project we created a dandelion by dipping a fork into yellow paint and tapping it on our paper above the stem! Check out our growing garden in the octopus room! We each were measured with yarn and we all discussed our sizes. Who is the tallest, shortest, we even noticed some friends being the same size! They loved doing this activity! For lunch we had chicken and rice, peaches, apples, carrots, cheese sticks, and cucumbers.
