This morning with Miss Cara we discussed Groundhogs Day! We discussed how each February the groundhog comes out of his den and if he sea his shadow that means there will be 6 more weeks of winter, if he does not see his shadow that means spring will come early. Today the groundhog saw his shadow. We made Groundhogs for our project, learned a poem called “5 little Groundhogs, and read “What Will Groundhog See.” We also made a list of words that begin with Qq. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack and completed a construction counting worksheet. Have a great evening!
