This morning with Miss Cara we read “The Cat and the Hat”. We discussed the red and white colors on the cats hat and how the red and white stripes of the hat are also a pattern. For our project we used red strips of paper to make the stripes for the cats hat, everyone wrote their name on their own on the back of their project! We began making a list of words that start with S and also practiced writing the letter S with the dry erase boards. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack and completed a rhyming word worksheet. With Miss Abbie the children enjoyed playing in groups and completed a Dr. Seuss, fish counting worksheet. Have a great evening!
