Today in the 123’s we discussed birds! We read a story that explained what a bird does during each season! We learned a new fingerplay called “Little Bird” and acted out the actions. For our project we created “Birds in a nest”, they each got to choose what color birds to make and what color feather to add! We took the binoculars outside to see if we could spot any birds! We also practiced our fine motor and hand eye coordination to help the birds get to their nest! We also sorted birds and birds nests. For lunch we had rice, corn, fresh ground turkey, strawberries, bananas, cucumbers and carrots.
