This morning with Miss Cara we read “Honey Bees”. We learned about the different types of bees, what they do and how they make honey. We made bumblebees for our project. The children were told to draw 6 stripes on their bee, we also discussed how the black and yellow are similar to a pattern. We reviewed how to spell the word “bug” and also talked about how to spell “bee”, some children practiced writing the two words on their own with dry erase boards. We also had fun practicing our movement song we learned last week in music called “Hi My Name isn’t Joe”. With Miss Abbie the children completed a bug line tracing worksheet and also had fun playing outside. With Miss Nicole the children ate snack, played wth table top toys and completed a bug, beginning letter recognition sheet. Have a great evening!
