Today in the 123’s began our morning with circle time and our welcome songs. After snack we read, The Magic Tree! When we were finished reading, explored with a red apple and a green apple. We discussed their colors, shapes and sizes. We discussed the parts of an apple, skin, core and then we cut one open and discovered the star inside of the apple! Miss Jessica had music class with us this morning! She has been singing lots of fun interactive songs with us! For our project today we made an apple tree using our finger dipped into red paint and dotted on the tree to represent apples! This afternoon, we are going to work on simple apple patterns (ABABA).
