Today during circle time we read “1 Little, 2 Little, 3 Little Apples”. We discussed how apples grow on trees and the different things that can be made with apples, Apple Pie, Apple sauce, Apple cider, etc. we also began making a list of words that begin with the letter A. With Miss Cara we made apple trees for our project. The children were given a pre draw tree truck to cut out, they were then asked to glue the tree truck and tree top on to a separate piece of paper, next they were told to use their finger and red paint to make 10 apples on the tree. With Miss Nicole the children had snack and completed a letter Aa worksheet where they were asked to circle the pictures that begin with A. With Miss Haylie the children enjoyed playing in stations.
