Today in the 123’s we sang our “Five Little Pumpkins” song! They Love it! We read a story called, “Pumpkin picking” and discussed where pumpkins grow and if we have ever went pumpkin picking! Ethan told us how him and his mommy opened up a pumpkin and made a silly scary face! We will be exploring the inside of a pumpkin later on in the week! We worked on identifying numbers 1-5 by finding the number on a pumpkin and bringing it back to our group! For our project today we used markers to color a pumpkin orange and then we worked on our fine motor skills by using peel and stick Halloween stickers to add to the pumpkin! For lunch we had a buffet of items such as turkey cold cuts, cheese sticks, bagels, olives, green beans, carrots, applesauce, peaches and raisins!
