Today in the 123’s we celebrated Riley’s birthday! She brought us a special snowman trail mix snack! Together as a large group we played a movement game similar to Simon says. In small groups, Miss Sara provided us foam snowflakes, the children worked to pop out the center pieces (fine motor) and glued them on their papers. We counted the snowflakes and then got to decorate them with glue and glitter! We also got our hands messy… I mean clean.. With some clean mud (shaved soap, water and toilet paper). The other Miss Sarah was with us today to! She read us a story called “Snowflakes”. She also had us identify shapes while exploring with our Big Buttons. For lunch we had fresh rolls, grilled chicken, corn, oranges, pineapple and cucumbers.
