It felt so lovely to have the cool breeze coming in through the windows today!

Mrs. Denise’s Group – We read “Nanette’s Baguette” by Mo Willems.  It was full of rhyming words!   We also did calendar and discusses some words that rhyme.  One example: Words that rhyme with “box” (socks, rocks, locks, docks, fox, etc)  The children practiced writing “Bb” on a worksheet.

Ms. Jessica’s group – The students enjoyed practicing their yoga poses.

Ms. Erin’s group – The students had snack and completed an aquarium maze and colored it.

Mini Groups – After reading “Pete the Cat and the Bad Banana”, every child helped to make banana muffins.  They sliced and mashed the brown bananas (organic), stirred the batter (all natural ingredients used), and spooned the batter into muffin cups.  They cannot wait to sample their creations!
