Mrs. Denise’s Group – Today, we talked about all kinds of critters!  We read “A Crazy Day at the Critter Cafe” after reviewing our calendar.  We also practiced tracing and writing the letter C on a camel worksheet.  We sang “Sally the Camel” at the end of our group.

Ms. Erin/Ms. Susan’s Group – The children made beautiful trees that display all four seasons when flipped.  This goes along with our discussions of CHANGE.

Ms. Abbie’s Group – The children had snack, worked with tabletop toys, and practiced working with the number three.

In mini groups, the children used hand lenses/magnifying glasses to observe “critters” or ants in our ant farm.  The children were fascinated by the hand lenses as well as how busy the ants were!  We also used a melon baller to scoop out cantaloupe which will be eaten for afternoon snack.
