Mrs. Denise’s Group – Q is for queen!  We talked about how q is almost always found with her friend u and looked at many examples of this.  Then, we read Dr. Seuss’s ABC book.  Finally we worked on animal faces using a circle as the base and recognized that a circle is the base for the letter Q as well.

Miss Jessica’s Group – The students painting the background on their puppy canvas.  They look great!

Miss Abbie’s Group – The students had snack and worked on counting to 18 and writing the numbers 17 and 18.

Before lunch, the children enjoyed playing both inside and out.  We also practiced asking questions (not giving comments) relevant to the topic at hand.
