Wednesday, October 2nd in Pre-K

Today, the class went outside with Mrs. Susan to use chalk paint! The worked on the letter C and they made cities by rolling different patterns of the chalk paint onto paper.

Ms. Asim’s class talked about how butterflies are formed! They watched a cute cartoon on how they start out as caterpillars. The caterpillars eat leaves and after being in a cocoon, the caterpillars transform into butterflies! The class colored butterflies and put the sequence of formation in order.

Miss Lauren’s class talked more about Mondrian’s art, how he likes to paint squares and rectangles and use primary colors. The class made their own version of Mondrian’s famous cubism/abstract art, which is mounted in the Pre-K art room.

Have a great day!
